McWhorter is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of Authentically Black and Winning the Race. McWhorter’s writings have been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal. He has also appeared on numerous national television and radio shows such as Meet the Press and NPR’s Fresh Air. McWhorter’s provocative commentaries on race, ethnicity and culture have drawn both fire and praise.
